2008 Humble Beginnings - Steve Erickson leaves 35 years as construction manager employee and enters ownership from an office in Forest Lake MN. Long time coworker, Lyle Dahlin, joins Steve and together they begin doing commercial construction.

2009 Incorporated - Steve incorporates his company as Interstate CM. He and Lyle build a new office in Forest Lake.

2016 Business is booming - The firm continues serving the Midwest and ICM's annual volume tops $10 million.

2017 New ownership -With the unexpected passing of Steve, his son Ken Erickson takes the position of president.

2018 Expanding - Wisconsin office opens.

2020 Relocating - ICM moves the Principal Forest Lake office to Lindstrom, MN.

2021 Moving Foreword - Lyle celebrates 12 years with ICM and 45 years in the construction industry.
